Yard Placement Process Overview

Coop Delivery & Yard Placement

Wondering What the Yard Placement Process Is Really Like?

We plan your delivery route, access, equipment, and final placement ahead of time so your coop can be moved safely from the delivery truck to its final spot in your yard.

How We Move Your Coop

Most coops are moved using a motorized Mule, which is designed to maneuver large structures and pivot in relatively tight spaces.

We Plan the Route Before Delivery

We review the route from the delivery truck to the final placement area, including gates, side yards, turns, slopes, ground conditions, overhead clearances, and other potential obstacles.

Important Access Requirement Your delivery path must be at least 2 ft wider than the coop's widest point, with additional room available for turns and maneuvering.

Fence Panels, Posts & Gates Must Be Removed Before Delivery

Our delivery crews do not remove fencing. If a fence panel, post, or gate must be removed to create enough clearance, it must be completely removed before the delivery team arrives.

What We Need From You

Complete the Yard Placement Agreement Form with exact measurements and current photos of the entire route from the delivery area to the final placement location.

Exact Opening Widths Measure gates, side yards, spaces between your home and fence, and the narrowest point anywhere along the route.
Overhead Clearance Include low branches, roof eaves, wires, power lines, and anything else above the delivery route.
Turns & Corners Tell us about tight corners, sharp turns, S-curves, or areas where the delivery equipment will need extra maneuvering room.
Ground Conditions Disclose slopes, soft ground, wet areas, steep driveways, or other conditions that may affect equipment access.
Utilities & Structures Mark sprinklers, underground utilities, septic lids, retaining walls, AC units, and other items near the delivery path.
Current Photos Send clear, current photos showing the complete route, all narrow areas, and the final spot where you want your structure placed.

Your Placement Plan Is Reviewed Before Delivery

Our yard-placement partner reviews your measurements and photos, confirms whether the move can be completed safely, and determines whether a motorized Mule, forklift, or other equipment will be needed.

Transparent Yard Placement Pricing

Final yard placement pricing depends on the distance traveled on-site, and overall difficulty. You'll know your total before purchasing, provided the property conditions and obstacles have been accurately disclosed.

Changes Must Be Approved in Advance

Any change to the delivery address, placement location, access route, or site conditions must be approved before delivery. Changes may affect the equipment required, delivery cost, or scheduling.
