Feeders

Make feeding easy with poultry feeders for every stage and flock size.

Choose chick feeders (1–2 qt jars or 3–5 lb troughs) for brooders, backyard feeders (5–15 lb) for small flocks, and large capacity (20–100 lb+) for bigger groups or fewer refills. Look for lids that keep out rain and pests, ports or grills that reduce waste, and options that hang or sit on blocks. Aim for about 1 feeding port per 6–8 hens, keep the lip at chest height, and place feeders in a dry spot. Clean weekly and keep a complete feed available at all times; use pellets or crumbles in feeders and offer scratch only as a treat.
