Dewormers

Dewormers help protect your flock from internal worms that steal nutrients and make birds weak.

Use them if a vet or fecal test shows worms, or if you see signs like weight loss, runny poop, coughing/open-mouth breathing (gapeworm), pale combs, or a drop in laying. Follow the label exactly: dose by weight, treat the whole flock, and repeat in 7–10 days if the product says so; clean bedding and pens the same day to lower re-infection. Check the egg/meat withdrawal time on the label and don’t eat eggs or process birds until that time has passed. Keep fresh water available and consider a short course of probiotics after treatment. If a bird looks very weak or symptoms don’t improve, contact a poultry vet.
