Large Feeders

Got a big flock? Larger poultry feeders save time and cut waste.

Use this size guide: 10–15 hens → 20–30 lb, 20–25 hens → 40–50 lb, 30–40 hens → 60–80 lb, 50+ hens → 100 lb+ or two feeders. Aim for about 1 feeding port per 6–8 chickens, or place two feeders so shy birds get a turn. Choose lids that keep out rain and pests, keep the feeder a few inches off the ground so feed stays dry, and plan to refill every 2–3 days (meat birds may eat more).
