How the Chicken Coop Mister works (yes—hook it to a garden hose)

Connect at the faucet. Make sure the screen washer is inside the swivel faucet connector, then attach it to your water source. If your water has grit or sediment, add a fine-mesh 3/4" hose filter (sold separately) before the kit.

Attach the mist line. Push the 3/8" misting line into the faucet connector 1/2"–5/8" until snug.

Insert foggers. Press the barbed end of the fogger into the hole; repeat for the rest, spacing every 3–4 ft.

Flush the line. Turn on water briefly to flush debris, then install the line end/plug to cap the run.

Test & fine-tune. Turn water back on and confirm each fogger sprays a fine mist; check for leaks and adjust aim as needed.

Automate (optional). Add a battery hose-end timer with short cycles to run quick bursts during the hottest hours.
Tips for coops & runs: Keep good airflow, use shade where you can, and run shorter cycles in humid weather. Drain the line before winter. For best results, operate within 40–80 PSI, and use clean water to keep nozzles clear.
