Gone Broody is growing our national network of trusted hatcheries, and we are currently accepting applications from NPIP-certified hatcheries that ship hatching eggs and/or live chicks within the United States.

Our goal is simple: to help experienced hatcheries reach more customers while keeping the process smooth, professional, and well-supported from start to finish.

Gone Broody handles the customer-facing side of the sale, including product listings, customer communication, order questions, and general support. You maintain control of your flock, availability, shipping schedule, and breed offerings.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for reliable, experienced hatcheries that take pride in their birds, their packing methods, and their customer experience.

• Must be currently NPIP certified
• Must be able to ship hatching eggs and/or live chicks nationally
• Must have clear breed availability and shipping windows
• Must package eggs and/or chicks carefully for safe shipment
• Must communicate order availability, substitutions, delays, or concerns promptly
• Must be committed to honest listings and quality flock care

What You Can Sell Through Gone Broody

Approved hatcheries may apply to list one or more of the following:

• Chicken hatching eggs
• Quail hatching eggs
• Duck hatching eggs
• Goose hatching eggs
• Turkey hatching eggs
• Live chicks
• Live quail chicks
• Other poultry, depending on availability and shipping requirements

We welcome hatcheries with common backyard breeds, rare breeds, specialty colors, heritage breeds, production layers, meat birds, bantams, quail, ducks, and other poultry varieties.

How It Works

1. Apply: Complete the hatchery application below with your contact information, NPIP details, and available breeds.
2. Review: Our team reviews your application to make sure your hatchery is a good fit for Gone Broody customers.
3. Listing Setup: If approved, we work with you to create product listings for your hatching eggs and/or live chicks.
4. Orders: Customers place orders through Gone Broody.
5. Fulfillment: You pack and ship the order according to your approved shipping schedule.
6. Support: Gone Broody helps manage customer communication before and after the sale.

Important Expectations

Because poultry shipping requires trust and care, we only partner with hatcheries that are dependable, honest, and communicative.

• Orders must ship within the agreed shipping window whenever possible.
• Any delays, shortages, or substitutions must be communicated quickly.
• Hatching eggs must be fresh, fertile to the best of your knowledge, and packed carefully.
• Live chicks must be shipped in accordance with applicable postal and animal welfare requirements.
• Breed descriptions, photos, and availability must be accurate.
• NPIP status must remain active while selling through Gone Broody.
