Layer Feed

Layer feed is for hens that are laying eggs. Start it when your pullet (young female) lays her first egg—usually around 16–18 weeks.

It has balanced protein and extra calcium to build strong shells and keep bones healthy. Don’t feed layer to cockerels/roosters or younger birds; keep them on grower or all-flock and offer a separate dish of oyster shell so only laying hens eat the extra calcium. Choose crumbles or pellets, keep it dry and fresh, and refill daily.
