Soldier Fly Larvae

Soldier fly larvae (black soldier fly larvae) are a high-protein, calcium-rich treat that helps with strong eggshells, shiny feathers, and extra energy—great during molt, cold weather, or for training birds back to the coop.

Most are dried; feed right from the bag or soak a few minutes to soften for younger or small birds. Live larvae, when available, encourage natural foraging. Keep treats to 10% or less of the diet, offer grit if birds eat whole insects, always provide fresh water, and store sealed and dry.
