Egg Candler

An egg candler is a bright light that lets you look inside an egg. 

You can see veins, movement, and cracks, and tell if the egg is fertile or clear (infertile). This saves time and incubator space because you can remove infertile eggs early instead of heating them for weeks. For best results, candle in a dark room around day 7–10, hold the big end to the light, and handle eggs gently.
