Kelp

Give your flock a simple mineral boost with kelp. Kelp is dried seaweed rich in iodine and trace minerals that support the thyroid, steady laying, bright feathers, and overall health.

It’s helpful during molting, winter, after stress or transport, or when birds are on poor pasture or local grains. Use it by mixing a small amount into feed or sprinkling per the label (a little goes a long way). Benefits can include stronger shells, healthy comb color, and better condition. Don’t overdo it—too much iodine isn’t good, so keep portions small and always feed a complete ration with fresh water.
