MannaPro Hydro-Hen 1.25 lb is a 3-in-1 poultry water supplement that combines probiotics, electrolytes, and acidifiers in an easy-to-mix powder. Designed for chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, and other domestic poultry and waterfowl of all ages, it provides a practical way to supplement drinking water when birds need additional hydration and digestive support.
One scoop mixes into a gallon of water, making Hydro-Hen simple to incorporate into routine flock care. The 1.25 lb size makes 56 one-gallon servings, giving backyard chicken keepers, homesteaders, and other poultry owners a convenient supply for their poultry supplement needs.
Hydro-Hen is particularly useful to keep on hand when poultry need additional support with hydration and digestion. Because the powder is mixed directly into drinking water, it can be incorporated into the flock's normal watering routine without adding another separate feeding step.
For everyday poultry care, pair appropriate supplements with reliable access to fresh drinking water and a complete diet suited to the birds' species and life stage. For additional watering equipment, browse our poultry waterers to find options for different flock sizes and setups.
Add 1 scoop of Hydro-Hen to 1 gallon of water and mix until the powder dissolves completely. The enclosed scoop holds approximately 10 grams of dry powder by weight. During times of stress, provide the prepared solution free choice alongside clean, fresh water without Hydro-Hen. Alternatively, the prepared solution may be offered as the sole source of drinking water for up to 12 hours in each 24-hour period.
Provide clean, fresh water without Hydro-Hen for at least 12 hours out of every 24-hour period. Discard unused solution after 24 hours. Store the product in a cool, dry area away from rodents and insects, and do not use product that is spoiled, moldy, infested, or abnormal in appearance or odor. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
Real help. Practical guidance. No high-pressure sales pitch.
Gone Broody was built for customers who want more than a product page and a Buy Now button. We specialize in poultry products, from everyday flock supplies and incubation equipment to chicken coop kits, fully assembled coops, and large custom builds.
More importantly, we actually help you sort through the options. We’ll talk through your flock, your property, your goals, and your budget and help you find the product that makes the most sense for how you actually keep chickens.
We’d rather help you buy the right thing than the most expensive thing.
Some purchases are simple. Others involve sizing, customization, site preparation, delivery, setup, or choosing between several very different products. That’s where knowledgeable customer service matters.
Ask questions. Send us a sketch. Tell us what you’re worried about. If a simpler option works better, we’ll tell you. If we think you’re about to outgrow something, we’ll tell you that too.
Because Gone Broody works with multiple builders, brands, hatcheries, and specialty suppliers, we aren’t limited to recommending one manufacturer’s solution. We can help you compare different styles, materials, sizes, features, and price points and find the best match for your flock.
No high-pressure sales pitch. No forcing every customer into the same product. Just practical, knowledgeable help finding what works for you.
