Cimuka CT180 Jumbo Quail Egg Rails – 36-Piece Set for Conturn Turners

Hatching larger Coturnix quail eggs in a Cimuka CT180 can be difficult when standard egg racks do not provide enough room. This 36-piece set of jumbo quail egg rails is designed specifically for 14–18 g Coturnix eggs, with deeper and wider pockets that help keep larger eggs securely positioned during automatic turning.

The rails drop directly into compatible Conturn turners without modifications, making them a straightforward replacement for standard rails when you are incubating a full load of jumbo quail eggs. For related quail incubation equipment, see our selection of quail incubators and hatchers.

Key Features

  • 36-Rail Complete Set: Provides enough rails to outfit one CT180, so the entire incubator can be configured for jumbo Coturnix eggs.
  • Designed for 14–18 g Coturnix Eggs: Sized specifically for larger quail eggs, helping accommodate eggs that may not sit correctly in standard racks.
  • Deeper, Wider Pockets: Give jumbo eggs more room and help prevent wedging or tip-overs during the turning cycle.
  • Correct Egg Positioning: Helps keep eggs properly oriented in the turners, supporting consistent movement throughout incubation.
  • Tool-Free Drop-In Fit: Installs directly into compatible Conturn turners without modifications, simplifying setup and replacement.
  • Rigid, Reusable Polymer: Provides a smooth, incubator-safe surface that is easy to clean and suitable for repeated hatch cycles.

Made for Jumbo Quail Egg Incubation

These jumbo quail egg rails are intended for keepers who regularly incubate larger 14–18 g Coturnix eggs in a CT180. Instead of trying to make standard racks work with oversized eggs, the deeper and wider pockets provide a better-fitting space for the eggs while allowing the Conturn turners to do their job.

The reusable polymer construction also makes these rails practical for ongoing hatch management. After a hatch cycle, the smooth surface is easy to clean before the rails are used again.

Shipping Live Chicks & Hatching Eggs

Live Chicks & Fertile Hatching Eggs are shipped out 1 to 5 days from the order date. Transit may take 1 to 3 days.

Live chicks are shipped by the hatchery using USPS Priority Mail, a fast and safe way for them to travel. As soon as your chicks ship, you’ll get a USPS tracking number so you can follow their trip. You can also track your package directly on the Gone Broody website to see updates anytime. When your chicks are close, make sure to coordinate with USPS about the best plan — local post office pickup or delivery to your home. Most chicks arrive in 1–5 days, healthy and strong, and it feels good knowing you can track and plan their arrival every step of the way.

Fertile eggs are shipped in strong molded bulb egg cartons, cushioned with soft paper padding, and packed inside tough mailers to keep them safe on the way to you. This keeps eggs safer and the packaging better for the earth. The hatchery no longer uses foam shippers because the foam had a 5% breakage rate and raised concerns about waste. The hatchery changed to molded cartons in 2021, and it made a world of difference. Now breakage is extremely low — just 1% out of 6,000+ orders. Safer eggs, smarter shipping, and cleaner for the planet.

Shipping Disclaimer: Gone Broody processes and dispatches all orders promptly. Once live chicks or hatching eggs are accepted into the USPS system, all transit times and delivery dates are solely the responsibility of the carrier (USPS). Priority and expedited shipping options reflect estimated timeframes only and do not guarantee a specific delivery date. As the named recipient, you are responsible for contacting USPS directly for tracking updates, delays, or delivery inquiries. Shipping delays are not eligible for refund through Gone Broody. Any claims for delay must be filed directly with USPS.

USPS Claim Help

If eggs ever arrive damaged, you can file a claim with USPS and get a refund for the insured damage. Just take clear photos of the eggs and packaging, keep the box or envelope in case USPS asks for it, then go to the USPS claims page and click File an Insured Mail Claim. Enter your tracking number, upload your photos, and submit. USPS will review the claim and send your refund. Breakage is very rare now, but it feels good to know your order is protected.
