Key Features

  • Mealworm & Black Soldier Fly Larvae Combo: Combines two popular dried feeder insects in one bag, giving you a convenient way to add variety to treat time.
  • High in Protein: With a typical analysis of 38–50% protein, this mix provides a concentrated source of protein as a supplemental treat.
  • Calcium-Rich Black Soldier Fly Larvae: Black soldier fly larvae naturally provide substantially more calcium than many commonly fed feeder insects, making them a useful source of this important nutrient for laying birds.
  • Convenient Dried Format: Dried insects are easy to store and ready to offer without the handling or storage considerations that come with live feeder insects.
  • For a Variety of Animals: Suitable as a treat for wild birds, poultry, reptiles, fish, hedgehogs, budgies, sugar gliders, and other animals that enjoy feeder insects.
  • Resealable Packaging: The 6lb quantity comes in three separate 2lb resealable clear plastic bags, making the larger supply easier to portion and store.

Designed for Convenient Treat Feeding

Mealworms are a familiar favorite for many birds and insect-eating pets, while black soldier fly larvae add a different nutritional profile with their naturally high calcium content. Putting both together means you can keep two popular feeder insects on hand without buying and storing separate products.

The dried format is particularly practical when you want a long-lasting feeder insect option. The 6lb package is divided into three 2lb resealable bags, so you can open one bag at a time while keeping the remaining product packaged for later use.
