Golden Comet (ISA/Red Sex-Link) chicks grow into friendly, super-productive hens—great for first-time keepers.
They start laying early (often around 16–18 weeks) and produce about 5–6 large brown eggs per week (around 250–320 a year). This is a sex-link bird, so females are easy to tell at hatch by color, which helps you order pullets with confidence. They handle heat well with shade and fresh water, and do fine in cold weather with a dry, draft-free coop. Get your brooder warm with clean water and chick starter before pickup.
