Bresse Meat and Laying Chicks

Bresse Meat & Laying Chicks grow fast, forage well, and make a great dual-purpose bird.

As hens, they lay about 4–5 cream/tinted eggs per week (around 200–250 a year) and stay steady through the season. As a meat bird, Bresse is known for rich flavor and good growth on pasture. They’re active but friendly, do well in most climates with shade in summer and a draft-free coop in winter, and they love room to roam.
