Each box features a slightly angled floor covered with a removable grass-like cushion so a freshly laid egg can roll
safely into a separate collection compartment—away from your hens.

The roll-away design helps reduce common coop frustrations by separating freshly laid eggs from the nesting area.
Instead of sitting underfoot where hens can step on them, sleep on them, or crack them, eggs roll gently into the

collecting area. This helps keep eggs safer and cleaner compared to traditional wire-floor designs.

Hinged Back for Outside-the-Coop Access
Hinged Back: Access the nest box from outside your coop so you can collect eggs, exclude hens, lift the
roost bar, and latch the optional AutoRoost (if used)—all without entering the coop.
Roost Bar to Keep Pads Cleaner Overnight
Roost Bar: After eggs are collected, the roost bar can be raised to exclude hens from the box. This helps
prevent manure build-up from hens sleeping in the nest overnight—keeping your nest pad and eggs cleaner.
Curtain System That Protects Eggs
Egg protection doesn’t stop at roll-away design. HenGear includes two purpose-built curtains to reduce mess and discourage
egg-eating behavior.

Tray Curtain: Exclusive black curtain creates a barrier between the collection tray and nesting area,
helping safeguard eggs from determined egg-eating hens.

Privacy Curtain: Red privacy curtain features five-inch wide cutouts for easier entry
compared to older V-cut designs. The red color also helps attract hens, as chickens are naturally drawn to this hue.
