Removable Roost Bar

This bar lifts out in seconds, which makes it much easier to clean, scrub, or replace if you ever need to. You can also rotate the bar so the wide, flat side sits on top, helping protect your hens’ feet and lowering the chance of bumblefoot. This option is only available when you purchase a Hen House Collection coop, and it cannot be paired with a heated roost bar. It’s a smart upgrade that keeps your flock comfortable and makes coop care quicker for you.
You can also add a litter tray that fits right under the roost bar. It slides out through a small hatch on the outside of the coop, so you can scoop out droppings without stepping inside. Many chicken keepers also use it with a litter method to make daily cleaning even faster and easier.
