Olive Egger chicks (often called “Olive Egg” chicks) grow into friendly, hardy hens that lay beautiful olive-green eggs.
They do well in many climates, forage happily, and fit easily into backyard coops. As adults, they lay about 4–5 medium/large eggs per week (around 200–250 a year). Set up a warm brooder with clean water and chick starter, and give them a safe run to explore as they grow. Try our Live Chick Breed Selector Quiz to compare breeds.
