Easter Egger chicks grow into friendly, curious hens that lay colorful eggs—blue, green, teal, and sometimes pinkish or light brown.
As adults, they lay about 4–5 medium/large eggs per week (around 200–250 a year). They’re hardy in many climates, with small pea combs that do well in cold, and they enjoy foraging but also do fine in a backyard coop. Set up a warm brooder, clean water, and chick starter, and give them a safe run to explore. Try our Live Chick Breed Selector Quiz to compare breeds.
